UU Ministry for Earth

Mission

Unitarian Universalist Ministry for Earth is a seedbed for spiritual grounding and education that inspires deep practices of Earth care, justice and flourishing for all.

Vision

A world in which reverence, gratitude, and care for each other and for the living Earth are central to the lives of all people.

UU College of Social Justice

The mission of the UU College of Social Justice is to inspire and sustain effective and spiritually grounded activism for justice.

UUCSJ was created in 2012 as a collaboration between the Unitarian Universalist Association and the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee. All of our programs and collaborations are designed to help people cross boundaries, gain insight, imagine new ways and learn new skills to make a difference in the world. Our work is intimately and ultimately relational. From our very creation as a bridge between the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC) and the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) to our work to help UUs bridge the gap between abstract ideas and embodied practice, the UU College of Social Justice provides the connective tissue supporting the spiritually grounded justice work of our faith.

DRUUMM

DRUUMM is the oldest and largest Unitarian Universalist People of Color ministry and anti-racist community organization based in North America. We are an integrated auxiliary organization affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) and operate as a 501(c)3 as defined by the United States IRS. We are supported by DRUUMM Members — individuals who self-identify as People of Color and affirm our Unitarian Universalist mission and values. People who self-identify as White are encouraged to belong and organize with UU Allies for Racial Equity, our close partner.

Your membership helps UUSJ provide you with regular updates such as our monthly eNews, and with timely notices of opportunities to participate in UUSJ activities and events. Your donation is also needed to organize, research, conduct meetings, and “be at the table” to advance UU principles before Congress.

TRUUST

We are TRUUsT! We are trans Unitarian Universalist religious professionals. We encompass many genders, races, ethnicities, abilities, classes, ages, and sexualities; we are diverse in terms of spiritual belief, practice, and ministry; and we understand our work for liberation as intimately tied to all efforts to dismantle oppression within Unitarian Universalism and our wider world.

UUJEC

Unitarian Universalists for a Just Economic Community (UUJEC) is a vibrant progressive organization committed to economic justice for all. Our philosophy is rooted in the UU liberal religious tradition – to create a world of justice, equity, and compassion. Our work contributes to a broader movement for social change, in collaboration with the UUA, UU Service Committee and grassroots organizations. We seek to inspire and help UUs to study our society’s economic and social systems and advocate for justice issues like The Green New Deal and Single Payer healthcare.
